These hotels have blocks of rooms held for those attending the RCCO national convention. Simply mention RCCO 2010 when you reserve. BC Transit provides frequent bus service between UVic Exchange and downtown Victoria by several routes. The fare is $2.50 cash, or $22.50 for 10 tickets. Transfers are valid for 60 minutes. Day passes are worthwhile if you will be making three or more trips in a day. The 7-11 store a block south of the Conservatory is a vendor of bus tickets and passes; news stands aboard BC Ferry vessels may offer them as well. Allow about 30 minutes per ride between UVic and downtown.
Vancouver, July 22, 2010
Those attending the optional day in downtown Vancouver will need a room there after the evening performance. The convention ends in Vancouver and does not return to Victoria.
- Comfort Inn
- 3-1/2 blocks from St. Andrews-Wesley
- Call 1-888-605-5333 or e-mail valerie@comfortinndowntown.com and say that you are coming for "RCCO 2010" or "Pipes around the Pacific". The reservation function on their website cannot give you access to the convention's block of rooms.
